Fran Weisberg has more than 30 years of experience in human service, community leadership, administration, policy-making and fundraising within the Rochester community.
She most recently served at the Executive Director of Finger Lakes Health Systems Agency. In that position, Ms. Weisberg revitalized the agency as an independent health planning organization and reinvigorated community health planning across New York State. Under Ms. Weisberg’s leadership, FLHSA created a strategic vision to make Rochester and the Finger Lakes region the nation’s healthiest community, while serving as a national model for health improvement.
Ms. Weisberg previously served as President/CEO of Lifespan for more than 10 years, transforming the non-profit from a $1.5 million agency into a more than $5 million organization. She serves on the boards of the Perinatal Network of Monroe County, Monroe Community Hospital, and the Nurse-Family Partnership, and she serves as co-chair of the Rochester Women’s Leadership Council of United Way. In October 2012, Ms. Weisberg was recognized as a Community Champion from the Greater Rochester Awards, and she received a Friend of the Year Award from the Ibero-American Action League. She earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Rochester.
