Karyl Mammano, PhD is a full time faculty member in the Accounting, Finance, and MIS department and Director of Nonprofit Management for the Center of Community Engagement at St. John Fisher College. Prior to her full time employment, she was an adjunct faculty member teaching in the Masters of Human Service Administration program at the college. She also taught for many years, both part time and full time at SUNY Empire State College.
Prior to her career in teaching, Dr. Mammano worked for many years in various health and human service organizations in Rochester. She remains active in her field through research as well as serving on boards of directors or local nonprofit organizations.
Dr. Mammano has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, MBA, and Doctorate in Nonprofit Management. Her doctoral dissertation was on outsourcing financial or human resource services in nonprofit health and human service organizations.
