Welcome to the Center for Community Engagement’s Web site.
We have launched this site as a one-stop resource to help enhance the performance of nonprofit organizations and the people that make them successful – from agency executives and board leaders, to board members, volunteers, and community partners.
The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is committed to enhancing the community’s quality of life by increasing citizen involvement and strengthening community-based organizations. We serve as a catalyst, connecting people and organizations to knowledge and resources.
Here at our new Web site, you’ll find information about the CCE, our many programs, and upcoming events. More importantly, you’ll have instant access to tools and resources designed to help increase the effectiveness of nonprofits, as well as a forum for community-wide discussion.
The CCE was created more than five years ago through the support of founding partners The Lifetime Healthcare Companies, Rochester Area Community Foundation, and United Way of Greater Rochester. Today, through the ongoing support of our partners and local community foundations, our programs are expanding to other areas, including Syracuse and Utica.
We invite you to explore our Web site, to discover our programs and services, and to learn how we can add value to your organization. Please do not hesitate to contact me (link to ttoole@cce-rochester.org) with any comments or suggestions about the site.
Sincerely,
Thomas Toole
Executive Director
